Casa de la Luz offers an exclusive private Ayahuasca retreat near San José, Costa Rica.

Please note that our retreats are designed to offer exclusive, individual Ayahuasca sessions. These sessions are conducted privately and are not shared with other participants. Your reservation ensures full access to the entire venue, with our staff and resources fully dedicated to providing you with personalized care and attention throughout your stay.

It caters especially well to individuals who may be neurodivergent, introverted, or prefer solitude over group dynamics in an environment of profound openness. Joining a group in an Ayahuasca retreat can be challenging, especially the first time.

Checkout: 10:00 AM - Early check-in & Late check-out is available per request

Snacks, fruit-flavored water, and tea are always available.

We utilize healthy and farm-to-table food, natural ingredients, and a vegetarian-based diet.
Our menu is open to other diets if you let us know in advance.


Important considerations for any selected retreat:

• Limited availability: We accommodate groups of up to 4 people at any location. We work with a small number of people each month.

• Additional ceremonies: We can accommodate additional Ayahuasca ceremonies, subject to evaluation and availability.

Our business operates legally and in full compliance with regulations.
We pay taxes (IVA-13%) and will provide either electronic or stamped invoices when you make the reservation.

Double Occupancy: $1100 USD
+13% IVA - per participant – Queen bed, Twin Bed, fan, private bathroom

Solo Occupancy: $1600 USD
+13% IVA – Queen bed, fan, private bathroom

Extra Services

Massage Therapy by Licensed Physiotherapist: $100 per hour

Beach or River Tour: $100 for a 5-hour guided experience

Poás Volcano and Waterfall Tour: $150 for a 6-hour guided experience

San José City Pickup: $40 for a 1-hour drive

Please note that all services provided beyond your dietary needs and Ayahuasca sessions are offered by third-party companies. While Casa de la Luz facilitates these arrangements for your comfort, the respective service providers are responsible for delivering these services.

Payment Policy for Our Retreats:

Our 4 and 7-day retreats require 100% payment at the time of booking. Due to the limited space and the nature of our operations, all resources—including staff, dates, medicine, and third-party services—are reserved exclusively for you once payment is made. While we are open to rescheduling in exceptional circumstances, please note that all bookings are non-refundable.

You can make payments with a credit or debit card via the paylink provided by us or by international bank transfer to Costa Rica.
