For these custom retreats, the specific requirements can be discussed with us. We can also arrange a site visit to ensure the location aligns with our event needs. Given the unique nature of this retreat, there is a minimum group size, accommodations for our staff, and provisions for dietary requirements. Everything else, including guidance, ceremony essentials like mats or mattresses, musical instruments, medicine brew, integration, and preparation, will be provided by us. We have the flexibility to travel to various locations across Costa Rica, with prices varying depending on the destination.

Meet our Ayahuasca Guide,
Andrés Campos Agüero.
At the age of 23, Andrés embarked on his transformative Ayahuasca journey, guided by Kuyay Anaya, a Peruvian Lady Shaman from Pucallpa, Peru, whose lineage traces back to her grandfather, an Amazonian Shaman. For years, Andrés exclusively imbibed Ayahuasca under her guidance, dedicating himself fully to facilitating ceremonies for the past six years. He was also a key member of the inaugural Ayahuasca Costa Rica Retreat team, marking the beginning of his immersion in this sacred tradition.
Andrés firmly believes that partaking in ceremonies with the same shaman over an extended period is integral to learning the traditions from a lineage of healers. In a world filled with distractions, where some retreats incorporate multiple medicines without a strong foundation, Andrés has chosen to specialize in Ayahuasca exclusively. He understands the profound nature of Ayahuasca and its ability to challenge without the need for additional enhancements. Simplicity, he contends, is key, though that doesn't mean it won't be a challenging journey.
Born in Costa Rica, Andrés considers it his life's purpose to honor and respect plant medicine traditions, serving as a conduit for the healing plants. Beyond his role as an Ayahuasquero, Andrés is a Writer, Poet, and Tarot Master.
Notably, Andrés made the conscious decision to step away from his career in the IT industry. He holds expertise in IT, specializing in infrastructure, troubleshooting, and social engineering, and has previously worked for renowned enterprises. His technical skills extend to managing social media platforms, website creation, retreat logistics, and more. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Andrés celebrated his 35th birthday in November 2023.
